Melanie Vail is a seasoned performer and teacher and is accomplished in many vocal styles such as Classical, Swing & Jazz, R&B, Choral, Rock, Disco, and Pop. She earned her Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Central Washington University and is a frequent performer in the Pacific Northwest. Melanie, a graduate of The Seattle Girls’ Choir, continued her music studies at Edmonds Community College, and was a featured soloist in large works performed by The Symphonic Choir and also a Soundsation member. Melanie leads a dance band, Candy Shoppe, performs with The Swing Reunion Orchestra, and sang with Choral Arts Northwest for twelve years. Melanie also works as a recording artist and has contributed to movies, movie trailers and video games such as “The Legend of Zelda, ”Dota,” ‘‘World of Warcraft,” ‘‘Catastrophe,” “Bejeweled,” and others. She also performed in the opera, "Roads to Zion" with Dolora Zajick and was premiered at The Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph in San Jose, CA.
